The news: The Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) recently concluded its NEXTGEN Christian Education Leaders Conference in Kohima, bringing together church educators and ministry leaders from across the region to focus on the next generation of Christian education leadership.
Why it matters for church leaders: Christian education is the backbone of long-term discipleship, and conferences like this remind us that investing in the people who teach is just as important as investing in curriculum. For churches across India — not just in Nagaland — this is a timely push to take Sunday school and youth education leadership more seriously.
The takeaway: If your church hasn't recently trained or refreshed your Christian education team, now is the right moment to plan that investment.
