The news: Christians in Delhi recently gathered in a significant prayer convention, interceding for India and calling for unity among believers. The gathering, reported by Radio Veritas Asia, emphasized the need for a credible Gospel witness in the nation — a pointed reminder that how the church lives matters as much as what it preaches.
Why it matters for church leaders: In a season of heightened scrutiny on Christian communities across India, a united, prayerful posture speaks powerfully to both the nation and the watching world. Conventions like this remind local pastors that they are not ministering in isolation — the broader Body of Christ is praying together.
The takeaway: Consider connecting your congregation to national prayer initiatives and encouraging your members to see themselves as part of India's wider Gospel story.
